Where light and color shaped his existence; a glimpsed beginning of a blurred city sight, Gabriel found his camera within the earth of the reservation. Those red rocks made him strong and able to accomplish a diploma in film production, in cinematography at the Vancouver Film School. He has also studied at The Chicago Academy of the Arts and Chicago Columbia College. Gabriel is also a Sundance Institute Fellow Writer, for his upcoming feature film The Beginnings of My Heart. In 2014 Gabriel featured work in the Miami art basil dome piece for Ai Weiwei's native project. In 2015 he also did a video for Patricia Michaels for the Peabody Essex Museum in Salam Massachusetts "Native Fashion Now". He continues to seek ways to give voice to the Native experience in a modern day context. He has recently moved to Nashville Tennessee to pursue music and help be a part of the music world for film and video.

Born into a world where he did not belong. Gage Washburn found him self lost in his surroundings, until one day at a very young age he turned on the television and began to watch film. From that moment on Gage Washburn watched film after film living in a false reality in which he had created within his mind. He would write, draw, and bring his thoughts and images from within his mind to the real world. From crayons and toys, to cams and lights. He lives his false reality one tale at a time. As you can be only you and no one else.
Jeremy V. Vranich is a producer, writer, director and actor who has spent most of his life completely consumed by storytelling and film. A graduate of the Chicago Academy of the Arts, he also studied at Tribeca Flashpoint Film School in Chicago. At 18 years old he co-founded the nonprofit organization It Can Be Done to document and support the struggle for clean healthy water in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro Tanzania, Africa. Subsequent projects include music videos, web commercial videos, and film. His first feature film Chicago Rot allowed Vranich to realize his skills as a producer, envisioning and creating the best possible balance between artistic expression and the business of filmmaking. Being invited to work with Gabriel Abeyta was a long time goal for Vranich. After living in the Abeyta home and sleeping on Gabriel’s ancestral land, this collaboration became a beautiful and rejuvenating affirmation of his chosen life path as an artist. While finalizing post-production of Chicago Rot, Jeremy is currently developing projects under Z Lot LLC, a production company of which he is both CEO and co-owner.
Ben "Bryson" Pierce is a manic whirlwind of untrained creativity. Interested in everything and tied down by nothing, he has a hand in the majority of Claymo's artistic ventures. He started writing seriously in high school, starting with long and short fiction and poetry, and upon going to Columbia College Chicago as a music business major, found an interest in film and began an enduring partnership with Gabriel Abeyta. He enjoys fried chicken, chunky ice cream, and boobs.
Ruth Hammer reigns from Chicago, Illinois where she worked on many projects with Claymo, such as the Beginnings of My Heart, and has been keeping continuity as well as aiding in the writing and direction for the Matador documentary.
Being raised in many different places and cultures around the globe has helped shape Margeaux Abeyta's artistic vision into something pure, exploratory and fearless. From the streets of Venice, Italy to the small mountain town of Taos New Mexico, she has experienced much of the world in her short life, and wants these experiences to pour through her work. Abeyta’s medium melding installations mostly deals with uncomfortable or taboo topics like alcoholism and human neglect. She acknowledges these subjects through deep self-reflection and presents them to the world in an intimate expression of vision by not only creating original spaces but strengthening the narrative behind each character. Beyond her recent acceptance to Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, Margeaux Abeyta is also excited to share her rich interpretations of the characters within The Beginnings of My Heart, through the playful spaces she is creating.
